Hyung Wook Park is Associate Professor of History at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore

Biography

Hyung Wook Park is a historian of science and medicine of the twentieth century. He has studied the historical and cultural contexts of immunology, transplantation, aging, infectious disease, medical institutions, and the science-religion interface. He has published two books so far, including Old Age, New Science: Gerontologists and Their Biosocial Visions (2016) and Creationism in a South Korean Culture (2024). He is now a faculty member in the School of Humanities at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
