ISSR Latin American Libraries

ISSR is pleased to offer 30 book collections in Spanish and Portuguese at the intersection of science, philosophy, and theology to Latin American Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), with the intention of providing Latin American scholars in philosophy and theology with access to the latest scholarly resources in science and religion in their own languages.

ISSR Latin American Libraries will be awarded by competitive assessment on the basis of academic institutional commitment (see a list of detailed criteria in the call for applications). You can download the Call for Applications here and submit your application in this online form.

Who can apply?

ISSR Latin American libraries will be awarded to Latin American Higher Education Institutions in which research and teaching into science and religion is conducted. Seminaries of any denomination are included in the definition of a Higher Education Institution for the sake of this call for applications. Applications must be submitted by an interested Faculty member on behalf of the institution.

How do I apply?

To submit an application, please fill in the online form attaching statements of support from an appropriate departmental authority and the institution’s librarian.

When is the deadline?

There will be two rounds of applications for applying to the ISSR Latin American Libraries, with deadlines on 15 February 2022 and 15 August 2022. Applicants should submit their application forms by these dates.
