Biography
The Revd Canon Dr Michael Fuller teaches in the field of science and religion at New College, University of Edinburgh. Having initially pursued research in the field of organic chemistry at the University of Oxford, he studied Theology at the University of Cambridge, and was ordained in the Church of England. He served in parishes in the dioceses of Oxford and Edinburgh, and for 14 years he supervised the training of candidates for ministry in the Scottish Episcopal Church. He is Chair of the UK’s Science and Religion Forum (2012-), and Vice-President for Publications of the European Society for the Study of Science and Theology (2014-).

Having initially pursued research in the field of organic chemistry at the University of Oxford, he studied Theology at the University of Cambridge, and was ordained in the Church of England. For more than a decade he supervised the training of candidates for ministry in the Scottish Episcopal Church. He is Chair of the UK’s Science and Religion Forum (2012-), and is Vice-President for Publications of the European Society for the Study of Science and Theology (2014-). In addition to the books listed below, he has published over 30 academic articles and book chapters. He is currently pursuing research on how understandings of Big Data might feed into the dialogue of science and theology.
