Biography
Malcolm A. Jeeves, C.B.E., a past president of the Royal Society of Edinburgh, Scotland's National Academy, and former editor-in-chief of Neuropsychologia, is Professor Emeritus of Psychology at the University of St. Andrews. He was Foundation Professor of Psychology there for twenty-four years and established the university's acclaimed psychology department. His own research has focused on brain mechanisms and neuroplasticity.
The author of many scientific papers, of eighteen books, including fifteen related to science and faith, his most recent studies are Human Nature at the Millennium (1997), (with R. J. Berry) Science, Life, and Christian Belief (1998), (with Warren Brown) Neuroscience, Psychology, and Religion: Illusions, Delusions, and Realities about Human Nature (2009), and Minds, Brains, Souls, and Gods: A Conversation on Faith, Psychology, and Neuroscience (2013), along with two edited volume of essays, From Cells to Souls — and Beyond: Changing Portraits of Human Nature (2004) and Rethinking Human Nature (2011), both published by Eerdmans.
