About the Author: Anthony K Nairn
I hold a Ph.D. from York University in Toronto, Canada. My supervisor was Prof Bernard V Lightman. My research focuses on representations of science in popular culture that use theological and religious-like narrative motifs. I aim to understand what the cultural and historical forces were that gave room for science to reoccupy such a religiously inspired narrative.
