Dr. Ken Gnanakan and Dr. Samuel Richmond Saxena have graciously agreed to speak to us. Their presentations will be followed by a Q&A session.
Dr. Ken Gnanakan is an Indian educator, environmentalist and theologian. He is a frequent speaker worldwide at workshops, seminars and conferences, and heads the ACTS group of Institutions which includes primary and secondary schools, colleges, and a private university. He is also the Chancellor of the William Carey University, as well as the Chairman of Evangelical Trust Association of South India.
Rev. Dr. Samuel Richmond is presently serving as the Academic Dean at Caleb Institute, Gurgaon. He has contributed to the field of eco-theology and creation care from the past 15 years. Having postgraduation in Chemistry, Christianity, and Christian Theology, Dr. Richmond has done Ph.D. in Theology on the topic: Biblical Response to Current Ecological Crisis. Several of his articles related to ‘creation care’, ‘environmental crises,’ ‘ecology and natural environment’, ‘eco-theology’ have been published in national and international journals as well as book chapters. He has also published a book on Contemporary Issues in Science and Theology, published in 2018 by ISPCK.”
